Dollarway School District recently held a non-traditional graduation ceremony (by appointment only) to honor its 62 graduates. Due to the pandemic this was a departure from the normal and traditional venue, however for the students, it was the marking of a very important milestone in their young lives.

The Dollarway Basketball stadium was a swirl of Cardinal Red cap and gowns, as students were carefully assembled to prepare for their graduation. Graduates and their family members were beaming with excitement to have this opportunity to mark this occasion, and school administrators were present to conduct the ceremony.  Before the ceremony, school nurses conducted Covid-19 screenings, ensured all participants were wearing masks and school staff were present to enforce social distancing guidelines, provide hand sanitizer, etc.

The Class of 2020 Valedictorian was Jordan Robinson, Salutatorian was Romello Turner, and the Class President was Jamaya Vassar. Thus far the amount of scholarship offers and awards stands at over $1.2 million. We honor and salute the Dollarway High School Class of 2020!
