Once again, the Office of Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas has recognized the Dollarway School District as one where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire in the areas of Math & English Language Arts. The ACT Aspire test is a powerful college & career readiness tool to help students and their parents monitor progress toward a successful ACT test from third grade through tenth grade. According to OEP, growth is the best indicator of the positive impact a district is having on students. Outstanding Educational Performance awards were based on the 2018 content growth score calculated by the Arkansas Department of Education. These growth scores reflect how much high school students in the district improved from 2017, compared to how much they were expected to grow considering prior achievement.
