On January 25, 2019 Shannon Young and Jeramiah Warrior were recognized by Dollarway High School as SOARing Cardinals. SOAR is an acronym which stands for Safe, Organized, Accountable, and Respectful. These characteristics are behavior expectations of students at Dollarway High School.  Pictured with the students from left to right are Dean of Students Mr. W. Gully, Principal Y. Prim and Behavior Support Specialist Mr. A. Roshell, III.   

Shannon and Jeramiah have both been observed by high school faculty and administration displaying exemplary behavior. Shannon, a Junior, is the daughter of Cheryl Kates. She aspires to join the United States Army and become a nurse. Jeramiah, a freshman, is the son of Latonya Warrior.  He plans to attend college and major in business and law. Both students received ticket to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) basketball game versus Texas Southern on January 26, 2018.
